The Medical Education Department of Bahria University Medical and Dental college conducted a workshop on “SYNOPSIS WRITING AND DATA MANAGEMENT – SPSS” on 4th April 2016 which was masterfully executed by Professor of Physiology department, Prof Dr Shazia Shakoor and Assistant Professor of Community Medicine Dr Sabeena Jalal. It was a seven -hour workshop attended by 25 participants, and 2 facilitators.The workshop was well planned, incredibly interesting and informative conveying firsthand knowledge about the purpose of writing a synopsis in a concise appealing fashion so as to inform the literary agent or a publisher that the manuscript is in good command of the subject. The topic was tough but the speaker’s knowledge was remarkable which enabled the participants to raise the questions and communicate their relevant thoughts and ideas.
