Professional Medical and Dental education is stressful, often students need to relax and take break during their study time to boost up. With laying emphasis on academic performance of students and motivating them to participate in research projects, the Dental Section of BUMDC recently planned a fun-filled activity for students to reduce their level of academic stress.
On 22nd February 2017, Dr Beenish Fatima Alam, Head of the department of Oral Biology has successfully organized the Colgate Max Fresh Hover Board Challenge in the college campus. ‘Two-wheeled’ hover board was an instant hit, all the faculty and students accepted the challenge gallantly
Honorable Director General BUMDC Vice Admiral (Retd) Tahseen ullah Khan HI (M) along with Prof Asad Ullah Khan (Dean Health Sciences & Principal of Medical Section BUMDC), Prof Zubair Ahmed Abbasi (Principal Dental Section), Dr. Kulsoom Fatima Rizvi (Vice Principal Dental Section) graced the event with their presence and took the event to the whole new level by accepting the hover board challenge. This triggered the layer of enthusiasm and excitement amongst the students and faculty who were cheering with their heart.
Aside from the arduous challenge of hover board, there was an anti-gravity photo session in a
photo booth created by Colgate Max fresh Personnel. Students desperately waited for their turn to experience this innovative way of photography.
The event came to end with the distribution of Free samples of colgate tooth paste amongst the participants. Choudhry M. Aizaz Tahir, student of 1st year BDS came out as a highest scorer of BUMDC. This event would not have been such a hit without the exceptional voluntary efforts of Dr. Sehrish Ahmed, Dr Shahrukh and Dr. Umair.
