The Department of Medical Education in collaboration with the Chair of Iqbaliaat BUMDC organized one day workshop on: “HUMAN LEARNING AND IMPLICATION OF KHUDI” on 26th June 2019 from 10:00am -1:00-pm.
The workshop was facilitated by Dr. Muhammad Abid Ali, Coordinator Iqbal Chair, Bahria University. The chief guest of this workshop was Rear Admiral (Retd) Imtiaz Ahmed Hilal e Imtiaz Military, Director General BUMDC. Principal& Dean Health sciences, Principal Dental Section, VP Dental Section, VP BUCPT and around 60 faculty members from various multidisciplinary basic and clinical disciplines attended the workshop. The workshop was hosted by Ms Najmus Sahar Ilyas, Lecturer Islamic Studies (DPT), Coordinator of Iqbaliaat, BUMDC. The main objective of the workshop was to spread awareness about Iqbal’s educational philosophy and his ideas on how human learns and how information is internalized. The ongoing process of learning and question answer session was carried out throughout the workshop.
In the end, the event was concluded by vote of thanks by Dr Shafaq Sultana, Senior Lecturer, Department of Medical Education.
In the end, Honorable Director General BUMDC, Rear Admiral (Retd) Imtiaz Ahmed Hilal e Imtiaz Military presented shield to our esteemed guest speaker.
