Bahria University presents the Best Faculty Award to selected students and faculty members each year. This policy was introduced to reward the dedication and hard work of faculty and students in the research arena.
After careful evaluation of the research endeavors of the nominees, ORIC Bahria University declared Dr. Daud Mirza, Associate Professor and Head of Department of Oral Pathology, the Best Faculty Researcher in Health Sciences for the year 2016. The Department of Oral Pathology has been actively participating in the research sphere since the inception of Dental Section, BUMDC. This is the second time that Dr. Daud was awarded the ‘Best Faculty Researcher Award’.
He was honored with a shield, certificate of appreciation and cash award of fifty thousand rupees by the Rector of Bahria University Vice Admiral (R) Tanveer Faiz HI (M). The Honourable Rector lauded the outstanding efforts of the winner and wished him greater success in the future. On this occasion, Director General BUMDC Vice Admiral (R) Tahseen Ullah Khan HI(M), Dean of Health Sciences Prof Asadullah Khan, Acting Principal Dental College Dr. Kulsoom Fatima Rizvi and Vice Principal Medical College Dr. Ambreen Usmani were also present, along with other senior faculty members.
