The students of bahria visted Indus Hospital on 9th of January 2017 .Bahria Medics Presidents Aqsa Mahfooz and Osama Waheed of final year organized a visit in order to give orientation and understanding of blood donation to new students of MBBS and BDS . The purpose of the blood drive was to arrange blood for needy patients in a more respectable way. The bahria medics BUM&DC used to arrange a visit to blood donation canters each year before the blood drive. This year Indus Hospital was selected. The students were welcomed by Dr Ruby Salman a medical officer and administrator who briefed students about the health services that are being provided by Indus Hospital to needy patients and its working strategies. Indus Hospital is an absolutely free of cost hospital that treats more than 200 patients at a time by scrutinizing them through their filter clinics. The students visited different departments such as the paedriatics, dialysis unit, I.C.U, O.T , Blood collection and rehabilitation departments.
