Bahria university medical and dental college is ever encouraging for its faculty members in excelling towards article writing of original research papers and clinical case reports. Maintaining its commitment and to promote motivation and sense of achievement, Bahria University has again organized this year on 8th April 2016 “THE BEST FACULTY RESEARCHER AWARD”program.
Dr Kulsoom Fatima Rizvi, Assistant Professor and Head, Department of Preventive and Community Dentistry, BUMDC is declared as “Best Faculty Researcher 2015”and presented with cash award of Rs: 50,000/=,Dr. Daud Mirza Assistant Professor and Head, Department of Oral Pathology who won this award last year is declared as“Best Contestant Faculty Researcher 2015”and presented with cash award of Rs: 25,000/=. Among Dental Students, Affaf Fatima of final year BDS is declared as “Best Student Researcher 2015” for her exceptional efforts and enthusiastic approach towards research writing and was appreciated with cash award of Rs:20,000/=.
The ceremony was attended by Director General Vice Admiral (Retd) Tahseen Ullah Khan HI (M), Dean Medical Sciences Brig. (Retd) Prof. Dr Shaheen Moin, , Principal Dental Section Prof .Dr Zubair Ahmed Abbasi and was specially honored by Rector Bahria University, Vice Admiral (Retd) Tanveer Faiz HI (M) who was also the chief guest of the ceremony. He presented certificates, shields and cash awards to the winners.In his address, the honorable rector encouraged such programs so that the other faculty members and students will feel motivated to put efforts in doing research activities
