Bahria University College of Medicine Islamabad held its inauguration ceremony on 3rd of October 2024. Admiral Naveed Ashraf NI(M), Chief of the Naval Staff, graced the ceremony as the chief guest. Senior officials from HEC, PM&DC, Health Ministry, former Rectors of Bahria University, and other dignitaries also attended the event.

In his welcome address, the Rector Bahria University expressed gratitude to the Chief Guest for attending the event and acknowledged the support provided by the Pakistan Navy in developing the campus.

During his speech, Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf NI(M) appreciated Bahria University’s efforts and the assistance provided by the Naval Headquarters. He said that while there are many opportunities and challenges ahead, he is confident that under the leadership of Bahria University, the Bahria University College of Medicine Islamabad will evolve into a premier institution for providing top-quality medical education.

Following this, the Chief Guest unveiled the plaque to officially inaugurate the Bahria University College of Medicine Islamabad. He, along with other distinguished guests, toured various facilities, including the library, laboratories, lecture halls, faculty departments, museum, administrative departments, and auditorium, expressing satisfaction with the infrastructure.
