Maj Gen (R) Prof. Dr. Irfan Ali Mirza is a graduate of Army Medical College, 7th batch. He completed his house job at Combined Military Hospital (CMH) and Military Hospital (MH) Rawalpindi in 1988-89. He did his diploma in Pathology from Armed Forces Postgraduate Medical Institute (AFPGMI) in 1991-92, MCPS Clinical Pathology in 1992, FCPS (Microbiology) in 1999, PhD in 2015, FRCP (Ire) in 2016 and MCPS- HPE in 2017.
He has served as a faculty member at Army Medical College, Rawalpindi, Bahria University Medical College, Karachi, and CMH Lahore Medical College and Institute of Dentistry. He has the unique honor of serving in hospitals and medicals setups of Pakistan Army, Pakistan Navy, and Pakistan Airforce during his illustrious thirty-six years of service. He has also served at UN mission in Sierra Leone at highest base hospital of Federally Controlled Northern Area (FCNA).
He has more than 130 National and International research publications in high-impact factor journals. He is an HEC-approved PhD supervisor for Microbiology and CPSP supervisor for Fellowship (FCPS) in Microbiology. He has supervised more than 55 postgraduate trainees in the subject of Microbiology. Along with Principal of Bahria University Medical College and HOD pathology, he is also currently Dean of faculty of Microbiology at College of Physicians and Surgeons, Karachi.
Prof. Dr. Wafa Omer

Prof. Dr. Wafa Omer graduated from Army Medical College in the year 2004. She completed MPhil and PhD from Army Medical College, NUST in 2011 and 2016 respectively. She attained post-doctorate in Cardiovascular Genetics and Gene Annotation from University College London (UK) in 2017. She has over 17 years of teaching, clinical and administrative experience in the leading public and private sector Medical colleges across Pakistan. She was previously heading the Pathology diagnostic Laboratory at Benazir Bhutto Hospital. She was also Director PhD Chemical and Molecular Pathology Program and Project Director Research Laboratory Complex at Rawalpindi Medical University. She has numerous National and International publications and has won multiple research grants and International travel grants. She is an HEC-approved PhD supervisor for Chemical Pathology and CPSP supervisor for fellowship in Chemical Pathology.
Prof. Dr. Humaira Zafar

Prof Dr Humaira Zafar graduated from Isra University Hyderabad in the year 2003. She completed her MPhil in Microbiology from University of Health Sciences Lahore in the year 2011. She is a PhD scholar and currently enrolled in NUMS. She is having a credit of 128 National and International publications along with 22 public awareness features in newspapers. She had won two research funding grants from HRI and NUMS in the year 2022. She is a certified lead auditor for ISO 9001:2015. Her 14 years of academic, administrative and medical journalism experience of working in a medical college will help in maintaining quality standards of Bahria University College of Medicine Islamabad.
