Vision

To emerge as a pioneer in disseminating Islamic knowledge with emphasis on highlighting the Islamic viewpoint on various aspects of life. Preparing research scholars to cater to the demands of the 21st century and providing a platform to highlight Muslim identity in the modern world.

Mission

To provide quality and research based education to students about Islam as a religion. To prepare students to get acquainted with the Islamic view of life. To inculcate in the students the values and principles of Islam. To enable students to highlight the relevance of Islam in the modern world.

Objectives

a. To prepare graduates with comprehensive and constructive Islamic knowledge and provide opportunities to excel in every walk of life.

b. To enhance creativity in students assisting them to develop critical thinking so that they can produce reflective and analytical research.

c. To focus on communication skills so that the students are able to develop better strategies

for conflict resolution in a multicultural society.

d. To help students embody Islamic virtues enabling them to be productive for the Muslim

community (Ummah).

e. To strengthen the values of honesty, justice, bravery, leadership and humility by

reconnecting 21st century generation with the legends of Islamic history.

Welcome to the Department of Islamic Studies at Bahria University, where the timeless guidance of Islam meets the opportunities and challenges of the contemporary world. Today, our youth are entrusted with the responsibility of preserving their religious identity while contributing meaningfully to the progress of society through knowledge, research, and ethical values.


At our department, we believe that authentic Islamic scholarship and modern intellectual inquiry complement one another. Our academic environment encourages critical thinking, meaningful research, and a deeper understanding of the Quran, Sunnah, and the rich legacy of Islamic civilization, enabling students to address contemporary issues with confidence, wisdom, and integrity.
