The Department of Humanities and Social Sciences at Bahria University is dedicated to promoting academic excellence, critical thinking, and a comprehensive understanding of society and human behavior. We believe that the humanities and social sciences play a significant role in shaping a better society. Our department offers a wide array of courses spanning disciplines as diverse as English Language & Literature, Linguistics, Anthropology, Sociology, International Relations, Public Health and Development Studies. Our faculty members have been trained at prestigious universities worldwide and they bring their expertise in research and global perspective to the classrooms. Believing in social and cultural harmony, the department promotes interdisciplinary research and provides different forums to our students where they can introduce the beauty in differences and embrace this diversity through a variety of curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities.
