David L. Rowland, Ph. D.Professor of Psychology and Dean of Graduate Studies and Continuing Education,visited Institute of Professional Psychology, Bahria University, Karachi Campus. On April 24th 2015.
David L. Rowland is a member of Bahria Journal of Professional Psychology in Editorial Board and a foreign evaluator for Ph. D. Candidates.
During his visit a meeting was arranged between faculty members of Institute of Professional Psychology and the esteemed guest to discuss & understand the prospects of collaboration between the two institutes.Director General Bahria University Karachi Campus Mr. Vice admiral Rt. Khalid Amin (HI) M. graced the meeting.
He is Also Conducted a guest speaker session on “GENDER IDENTITY DISORDER” for the Graduate & Post Graduate Students.
The aim of this session was to impart knowledge about the etiological factors of gender identity disorder with respect to parental & postnatal developments.The main emphasis of the session was on the biological context of the said disorder. Furthermore, prevalence of this disorder in different age groups & its possible treatments were also discussed in detail.
