Institute of Professional Psychology, conducted a workshop on Personal Excellence which was conducted on 21st and 22nd December 2016 by Samad Abbas Zaidi, Career and Personal Development Faculty at Habib University. He is also a Director and Learning Consultant at Training and Consultancy Services.
The workshop revolved around how a person can excel through his/her skills. The difference between two types of skills were explained in detail. Mr. Abbas shared that only Institute of Professional Psychology, Bahria University Karachi Campus teaches both soft and hard skills. Different types of attitudes were also discussed and that how a person can succeed through it. Importance of smile and the steps to turn a bad day in a good day grabbed the attention of the students.
The participants were actively engaged in the workshop and were able to relate to its practical nature. The feedback was so positive that the workshop was held for two days. The participants also communicated that they would like further trainings to be held for such programs and that they should be taught subjects like these in their fields.
