Management Science students from Bahria University Lahore Campus wins the Launchpad-14th Entrepreneurs Startup Competition held at Arfa Software Technology Park, Punjab Information Technology Board and organized by PLAN9 & PLANX INCUBATORS.
Under the mentorship and supervision of Mr. Qaiser Malik, Senior Lecturer and Career Services Coordinator (MS), students namely Badar Saeed (BBA-6), Hamza Abbas (BBA-7) & Muhammad Hamza (BBA-7) actively participated in this competition with full spirit and won for the very first time in the history of BULC.
The startup named as “CASHBIN” gave a demo on the 7th of November 2019 at Plan9 and got selected as an innovative idea with a problem solution to waste management. CASHBIN went through as semi-finalists and won the judges heart with their Elevator Pitch and became one of the finalists among Top 18 startups from the 200 participants.
CASHBIN gave an outstanding slide-deck presentation in the final round, answered every challenging question with the dedicated help of their mentor and won the battle to become winners and achieving a position in the top 3 startups.
Our students will receive an office space at Plan9 and a stipend of Rs. 20,000 to each member on a monthly basis for the next 6 months. An investor will also work side by side with the startup to help in its launch and progression in the market.
