Bahria University Lahore Campus conducted its first Career Fair on 9th October 2019. The event was attended by a large number of potential employers and students.
Tens of companies set up their stalls at the event, including several noteworthy names such as Ebryx Ltd, ABN Overseas, Pixidir, Tech Implement, Carhelp Line, H-Tech, Shahi-sawari, Sendoso Ltd, FFC- Training , Apna Bank, Ad Maxim, EFU, Keep Truckin, Siemens, NBP, Pak Fill Technologies, Brain plow, Path seed consultants, Plan 9 and others .
The career fair was targeted at the students and alumina of all these programs.
Speaking at the occasion, Commodore (R) Shahid Azmat Wain SI(M), Director Bahria University Lahore Campus reiterated his resolve of providing meaningful career opportunities to students besides fulfilling their requirements of academic pursuits.
This fair was an excellent platform to showcase the quality and talent of Bahria’s graduates. A major attraction at the event was the stall set up by the Psychology department. It carried out psychometric testing and provided immediate results. The stall was equally popular between both students and the HR managers of the employers.
The career fair was widely attended by both current students and alumina. They were optimistic that the initial interactions they have had at the fair with the employers will translate into placement opportunities for them.
