WUACD YOUTH ESSAY WRITING COMPETITION 2023
1. BU is member of World University Association for Community Development (WUACD). The WUACD has shared information regarding conduct of Essay Writing Competition 2023 for students of member universities.
2. In this regard BU students are invited to participate in the competition and submit their scripts. The said competition permits interested BU students to submit one easy in English language not exceeding 1500 words on any of the following topic:
a. Poverty
b. Climate change
c. Food insecurity
d. Future pandemic preparation and response
e. Healthcare
f. Ocean Issues & Threats
g. Cybersecurity
h. Corruption
i. Gender equality
j. Disability rights
3. BU students are advised to craft a good essay with careful argumentation, clear structure and originality. For more details on submission guidelines the interested students can visit https://myumcares.um.edu.my/news/wuacd-youth-essay-writing-competition-2023. Please disregard the submission deadline given on the website of WUACD. The new deadline for submission is 21 July 2023. The winners will be awarded Cash, Certificates, and Plaque.
