A delegation of the BS final year students of Department of Media Studies Department BUKC visited Orangi Pilot Project (OPP) Karachi – a model NGO in Pakistan, as a field visit of their Development Support Communication course.
On this occasion, Ms Sahar Ismail, Director OPP welcomed the delegation and gave briefing about the objectives, achievements of OPP and information about ongoing projects. The delegation observed the water treatment project initiated by OPP at the main office and then visited another project located in the suburbs of Orangi town where they observed the ongoing development of drainage system initiated by the community on self-help basis. The visit was led by Dr Har Bakhsh Makhijani, Professor, Media Studies Department, BUKC.
