The Prime Minister CLEAN and GREEN Pakistan Movement, Bahria University Karachi Campus as part of Student Support Centre – SSC, Community Support Program – CSP & Student Resource Center – SRC participated in Beach Cleaning and Tree Plantation Campaign – PN Maritime Awareness Campaign Plan 2018 on Saturday, 10th November 2018 at Nishan e Pakistan. This activity was organized by PNS Bahadur.
Bahria University Karachi Campus is running Maritime sector and environmental sciences, therefore the students of the Bahria University took part enthusiastically in a Beach Cleaning activity. More than 100 Students have participated in Beach Cleaning drive and plantation and high-level media coverage was grasped ADSSC and students presented Bahria Community Support initiative in Media as well. Governor Sindh Mr. Imran Ismail was Chief guest at the event and assure the audience regarding future government support in that precious cause.
The Beach Cleaning and tree plantation campaign is arranged to give awareness to students and peoples about Maritime and sea pollution, how the life of sea habitat is affected by our acts. Students of Bahria University Karachi Campus showed great interest in cleaning and enjoyed the activity though it was a hot sunny day. Students will be awarded 3 CSP hours for this activity. After getting so much interest and support Community Support Program will arrange more activities related to Maritime and sea cleaning.
