“PEACE & TRANQUILITY IN PERSPECTIVE OF KARACHI OPERATIONS”
The first session of the event was organized on Dec 12, 2017 at Al-BERUNI Auditorium .BUKC by Sabiha Abid Senior Assistant Professor Economics, Management Sciences Department. The event was witnessed by the students, faculty, staff and management and officers from the Rangers Sindh Secretariat. The Chief Guest of the event was DG Rangers Major General Muhammad Saeed. While addressing the audience he said that noticeably positive results have come out of the Karachi operation and the improved peace situation of the metropolis bore testimony to the achievement of positive results from the operation in the form of strong industrial and economic base. He stressed that there is a need that families should spend more time together and parents should have communication with their children. Also an individual and as a nation we have to be vigilant and should keep an eye on the unusual activities and suspicious people to help security agencies in maintaining peaceful Law and order situation of the country.

“INDUSTRIAL GROWTH, CAPITAL INFLOW & SECURITY CONDITIONS.”
The second part of the event was held on Dec 12, 2017 at Al-BERUNI Auditorium BUKC. The event was organized by Sabiha Abid Senior Assistant Professor Economics, Management Sciences Department. The event was graced by the students, faculty, staff and management. The honorable guests were Mirza Ishtiaq Baig President Pakistan Chamber of Commerce; Syed Shujaat Ali Chairman All Pakistan Leather Garments Manufacturers and Exporters Association of Pakistan; Dr. Kevin Wrathall Marketing & Innovative Head, National Foods Industries. They gave insightful and thought provoking knowledge and guidance to students about the current economic situation and policies at the government level. They shared real life experiences of failures and success in the endeavors to become an industrial entrepreneur of national and international level. The speakers provided information to the students about capital inflow through setting up of foreign companies in Karachi after the improvement of law and order situation of the country. Previously these businesses were flown to Dubai & Bangladesh. Moreover, within the country the business environment has improved and now existing and new businesses have chances of earning profit. The fear of ransom, Dacoits and loot has been controlled. The event was attended by students, faculty, staff and management.
