Director Internal Auditor (Lahore Garrison University)

I, Hani Abbas, a proud alumnus of Bahria University, stand before you today to share my journey from the moment I stepped into this institution to where I, am today.

My actual educational voyage began in 2007 when I chose this university for my Bachelor’s in Business Administration. Those four years were transformative. I absorbed knowledge, honed my skills and most importantly imbibed the spirit of perseverance and growth that Bahria University instilled in its students. I continued my educational journey and completed my Master’s in Business Administration from the same institute.

Fast forward to the present, I find myself on the cups of completing my PhD in Management Sciences from the Institute of Management Sciences, Lahore. The journey has been rigorous but it was my foundational education at Bahria University that prepared me to tackle this challenge on-head.

In the professional realm, my journey has been nothing short of remarkable. I started my career as an Assistant Director at the Quality Enhancement Cell at Lahore Leads University. Then I moved on to the Information Technology University where I served as Assistant Treasurer from 2013-2014 and subsequently as Deputy Treasurer for another 2 years. My significant role, and the one I currently hold is as the Director of Internal Audit at Lahore Garrison University since 2016. It’s a testament of the skills and values I learned during my time at Bahria University, Moreover, I am also serving as an Independent Consultant at Grand City (a rapidly expanding real estate development firm with projects valued at PKR 750 billion).

So, on an ending note, I am a proud Bahria Alumnus who is not just successful but driven by a sense of purpose to give back to society in every way possible. Thank you for allowing me to share my story, and I hope it will be an inspiration to the bright minds who are the future of Bahria University.
