Bahria University Karachi Campus, Students Support Center in collaboration with BU Debating Club organized a Bahria University Model United Nation conference from 17 to 19 march 2023. The aim of the event is to empower youth to enhance their analytical, social, communication, and leadership skills while experiencing the simulation of the United Nations where students play the role of delegates from different countries and attempt to solve real-world issues with the policies and perspectives of their assigned country.
The Chief Guest of the Opening ceremony was Director Admin Cdre Muzammil Hussain SI along with Director Academics Capt Zaheer Ahmed and Mr. Faheem Khan TV Anchor Bol News.
While the Chief Guest of the Closing Ceremony we invited the parents of the organizing team to honor and cherish their hard work and dedication to organizing the event successfully.
The event Was Sponsored by ISM Mart, Lapata, Vital Tea, and Food/Small Enterprises.
In social events, multiple food vendors and small-scale entrepreneurs set up their stalls to sell their products. The Social event also includes the qawali night where students enjoy some time enjoying the ambiance of sufi folk music.
Following the committee session conducted during the Model United Nation
KCC, DISEC, SPECPOL, SOCHUM, PNA, UNSC, and UNWOMEN, in which delegates participated as per the given agenda of each committee chair head.
