Dr Rahat Munir is a Professor and Head of Department of Accounting and Corporate Governance, Macquarie University, Australia. With over 30 years of banking and academic experience, Professor Munir’s research and teaching is across management and accounting related subjects. He supervises Master of Research and Ph.D. students. His research interests range from management accounting systems, performance measurement systems, CSR, corporate governance, management control systems, banking systems in emerging markets and SMEs. He has published in leading international journals as well as author of ten books.

On 08 September 2022 he visited to BUKC and conducted two sessions for students and faculty entitled “𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀” and “𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘄𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝘁𝗼𝗽 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗹𝗲” respectively. More than 100 students and 60 faculty members have participated in the events and exchanged a valuable knowledge.
