Bahria University Karachi CSP arranged a visit to the illustrious Burns Center at Karachi on 6th January 2022 under the supervision of Ma’am Sumaira Ajmal Assistant Manager CSP-SSC department.
The center was inaugurated in 2004 and since then has continued its mission to provide quality care and solace for all those who have suffered from burns of all kinds. The various departments we visited were led by motivated individuals who were kind and commitment which showed as they guided us through the establishment.
From the provision of medicines to hospital care, the Burns Center is suited to treat all those who have suffered and maintains a level of quality that is seldom seen in Pakistan. The qualified medical professionals and staff hold true to their mission and their enthusiasm was infectious. Due to their dedication, Bahria University soon will sign an MoU with the Burns Center to provide social internship opportunities for Bahria University Students.
Furthermore, an awareness seminar will be conducted soon at Bahria University Karachi to spread the word about the hazards of fire and to state that “Prevention is better than cure”
Millions of Pakistanis are harmed by fire yearly and a little negligence can come with a heavy price. What can be a slip of the moment can ruin lives. The severity of the danger cannot be understated and as such, SSC is open to donations for any individuals who wish to pledge their money for humanitarian causes.
