The X-Games for Startups X-PITCH is exclusively for early-stage tech startups. The event has discovered and accelerated many of tomorrow’s stars. Past contestants successfully raised millions of dollars in funding through the event and collaborated with numerous corporates.
The TECH FOR GOOD themes of X-PITCH 2021 highlight the New Normal in a post-pandemic world. Participating teams should focus on applications and services that enable digital transformation around five major themes of the New Normal: Public Services, Industrial Supply Chain, Consumer Lifestyle, Mobility, and Banking. Nine awards will be presented on the Grand Finale Day (November 11, 2021); the top 3 teams will win up to US$1 million investment. Submission is due by 31st August 2021, midnight Pakistan Standard Time (PST).

Eligibility Criteria
- Between Pre-seed and Pre-A stages (Received less than US$1 million in funding to date)
- Good command of English (All activities are conducted in English)
- Technology areas: 5G / Edge Computing / AI / Blockchain / Next-gen Computing
- Startup less than five years old (Founder who has not yet incorporated a company can also apply)
- Focusing on products and services that enable digital transformation around one of the five New Normal categories:
- Public Service: Healthcare system is severely overloaded everywhere. Response systems and public safety unable to cope in crisis mode
- Supply Chain: Disruptions from raw materials to finished goods, from manufacturing floor to delivery. Food supply & delivery at risks
- Lifestyle: From personal to business activities, people have pivoted and heavily depend on virtual communications platforms.
- Mobility: Gig economy shift from rideshare to delivery and essential services that are highly manual, have poor economics and risk exposure
- Banking: Already a significant trend toward digital banking, consumers no longer need to deal with retail banks and paper currencies
Benefits
- The top 100 teams will enter the Semifinal and participate in Number Pitch Contest.
- Two teams from five New Normal categories will advance to the Finale (TOP 10).
- If entry into Taiwan is restricted due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all overseas teams will conduct an online pitch.
- Top 3 teams of X-Pitch 2021 win up to US$1,000,000 investment.
