To commend the efforts and achievements of workers around the globe, 1st May’ is determined as Labor Day. It is celebrated around the world as a tribute to the contributions workers have made to strengthen, prosper and aid the country.
On behalf of this day, the Community Support Program (CSP) took the initiative to celebrate Labor Day with the University’s working staff on 30th April’ 2018, as 1st May is declared holiday. CSP club students volunteered for the event and assisted BU’s staff in distribution of food amongst 300 workers. The purpose was to acknowledge the hard work and integrity of these individuals, who work consistently to serve for the betterment of the nation. It is the vital force of these laborers, who essentially add the highest standard of living and supply rapid expansion in production of goods and services to the world.
To cherish the occasion, a group photo was captured. Positive remarks were gotten from the staff members and they expressed their gratitude to the hosts.
