The Skills Lab at Bahria University College of Medicine (BUCM), Islamabad is a modern simulation-based training facility that supports competency-based medical education. It provides a safe and interactive environment where undergraduate and postgraduate learners acquire and refine essential clinical, procedural, communication, and teamwork skills before patient encounters.
Equipped with advanced simulation equipment, mannequins, and task trainers, the Skills Lab facilitates hands-on training in clinical examination, life support, procedural skills, emergency management, and OSCE preparation. The facility regularly conducts certified Basic Life Support (BLS) courses, simulation-based workshops, faculty development programs, and interdisciplinary training sessions, promoting clinical competence, patient safety, and excellence in healthcare education.
