DPP-H11 BS Psychology Students Visit Islamabad Model College for Girls (IMCG) F-10/2

Outreach activities play a vital role in building bridges between educational institutions and supporting students in making informed academic and career decisions. With this objective, the Department of Psychology at Bahria University H-11 organized an academic seminar at IMCG F-10/2 on 25 November 2025. The session aimed to familiarize intermediate and undergraduate students with the field of psychology, its scope, professional opportunities, and the academic framework available at Bahria University. This initiative reflects Bahria University’s commitment to promoting psychological literacy, encouraging intellectual curiosity, and extending support to students beyond its own campus.

A team of six dedicated and enthusiastic students from BS semesters 6th and 5th visited IMCG F-10/2 namely, Muhammad Arqam, Fajar Saeed, Khadija Naeem, Ariba Iqbal, Ayesha Abbasi, and Anousha Javed. The team was accompanied by the distinguished department mentor, Ms. Javeria Asim, who provided expert guidance throughout the session.

Through different activities, students of IMCG gained practical exposure to psychology beyond textbook definitions. In addition, a detailed and structured introduction of the Professional Psychology Department, Bahria University H-11, formed a significant part of the seminar.

Students of IMCG actively participated in the activities and discussion. The seminar concluded on a positive note, receiving enthusiastic feedback from both the students and faculty members of IMCG F-10/2. Participants expressed appreciation for the clarity, interactivity, and relevance of the content presented. Overall, the seminar fulfilled its objectives of awareness, engagement, and academic outreach, reinforcing the Department of Professional Psychology’s commitment to community development and educational support.
