The BUCM Co-Curricular Committee, Student Support Centre and Student Islamic Club were honoured to host renowned Islamic scholar “Mufti Muhammad Asim Shiekh” on September 4, 2025, for a thought-provoking seminar held in celebration of the blessed month of Rabi-ul-Awal.
The session was about "Responsible Social Media Usage in the Light of Seerah". Mufti Asim Shiekh shared profound insights, encouraging attendees to reflect on their digital presence and align it with the exemplary character and teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). His words served as a powerful reminder of the importance of ethics, intention and responsibility in todays digital age.
The session was attended by students, faculty and staff members. Dr. Tahira, HoD CMPH in her closing remarks, emphasized the importance of using digital tools and social media mindfully and purposefully. To express appreciation a shield of gratitude was presented to Mufti Muhammad Asim Shiekh by Prof Dr. Zaheer Awan.
