Session On AI Excellence in Healthcare and Academia
The session began with a warm welcome to the Principal, faculty, Guest Speaker, and students. The program opened with the recitation of the Holy Quran and Darood Pak. Participants stood in respect for the National Anthem.Prof. Dr. Wafa Omer, Director Research BUHSCI, delivered the opening remarks and welcomed the audience. The Keynote Address was presented by the esteemed Guest Speaker, Ms. Faiza Nasir, focusing on the role of Artificial Intelligence in modern healthcare systems and academic research. The speaker emphasized how AI-driven innovations are improving diagnostics, patient care, and medical decision-making while also accelerating research, data analysis, and academic excellence. The session encouraged students and faculty to adopt AI tools responsibly, ensuring ethical practices and meaningful integration into healthcare and education. A Research Cell video presentation highlighted the journey, activities, and achievements of students. Student Reflections were shared by Mr. Zain Zafar and Ms. Maryam Ajmal, expressing their valuable experiences with the Research Cell. The session concluded with closing remarks by the Principal, invited by Prof. Dr. Wafa Omer. Shields and Certificates were distributed to the Guest Speaker and the organizers for their contributions.
