The BUCM Sports Gala 2025, held on April 23rd and 24th, was a vibrant two-day event organized by the BUCM Students Sports Club, Faculty Sports Committee, Staff Sports Supervisor, and the Student Support Centre. The event brought together students, faculty, and staff in a spirited display of athleticism, teamwork, and community spirit.
The Gala opened with a grand ceremony featuring a student parade and the national anthem, honored by the presence of DG Campus Rear Admiral Naeem Sarwar, Director Campus, Vice Principal, and faculty members. Rear Admiral Naeem Sarwar officially inaugurated the games with a symbolic first batting shot.
A range of exciting competitions, including cricket, football, badminton, sprint races, and fun faculty-student matches like Tug of War and Musical Chair, engaged everyone in the campus. Faculty supervisors ensured smooth execution and fair play throughout the event.
The closing ceremony, led by the Principal, celebrated the enthusiasm and sportsmanship of all participants. Over 40 medals and 100 certificates were awarded, recognizing students’ excellence and team contributions.
