The BUHSCI Library is a modern, state-of-the-art learning resource center designed to support the academic and research needs of students, faculty, researchers and healthcare professionals. The library offers a peaceful and technology-enabled learning environment with a seating capacity of 200 users, two dedicated discussion rooms, spacious reading areas, and a rich collection of medical and health sciences books. It also subscribes to leading national medical journals and daily newspapers, ensuring users remain updated with the latest developments in medicine, healthcare, and current affairs. Equipped with 38 computer workstations, OPAC search terminals, and a dedicated research data center for postgraduate scholars, the library provides comprehensive support for study, research, and scholarly activities.
To promote evidence-based learning and research, the library provides access to the HEC Digital Library, offering thousands of e-books, e-journals, research papers, and academic databases through renowned publishers such as ScienceDirect, SpringerLink, Wiley Online Library, Taylor & Francis, Emerald, and JSTOR. A wide range of services, including circulation, reference and information services, interlibrary loan, document delivery, remote VPN access, and virtual reference support, ensures seamless access to knowledge resources both on and off campus. Additional facilities such as high-speed Wi-Fi, printing, photocopying, scanning, comfortable journal reading areas, and modern digital infrastructure create an ideal environment that fosters academic excellence, lifelong learning, and research innovation.
