In observance of World Suicide Prevention Day, the Department of Professional Psychology (DPP-H11), Bahria University Islamabad, hosted a session titled "Drug Addiction and Suicide among Youth," addressing the realities of drug addiction and suicide prevention.

The session was led by Dr. Aftab Hussain, Chairman, Safecare Trust International, who shared insights into the underlying factors linking addiction and suicidal behavior, along with approaches to early identification, support, and prevention.

The discussion reaffirmed the importance of awareness and open conversation in suicide prevention efforts, serving as a reminder that every conversation around mental health can be a step toward understanding and change.
