Later, it became the Environmental Studies Center, a first-of-its kind environmental research services center in Pakistan.
She got published more than forty seven research articles in journals of national and international repute, and a hundred commercial studies and project reports are also in her credit so far, across multiple environmental challenges. A few projects are listed below:
Ecosystem Research of Water Resource Management in Sindh East, “Capacity Building of Bahria University Environmental Research Center,” awarded by the Higher Education Commission (HEC), Government of Pakistan, 2008–2010 (Project ID: 20-1196/R&D)
The project title, “Thar Coal and Water Research Studies," was a joint venture project of the Sindh Coal and Energy Development Department and Deep Rock Drilling Pakistan Private Limited, an exploration company.
“Environmental Performance Monitoring" was awarded by M/s Agha Khan University Hospital (2014–up to now).
Ambient Air Pollution Detection at KE Grid Stations under the TP1000 Project (awarded by M/s Siemens Pakistan) 2016–2019
Supervision of MS/MPhil Students 18 MS graduates and 4 PhD scholars are on final thesis defense (FTD).

Environmental Research Center (ERC) was established in June 2007 at the Bahria University Karachi Campus. It is equipped with a state-of-the-art facility to serve in the field of environment to multinational and national industries. Its recognition by the Sindh Environmental Protection Agency (SEPA) in 2009 began a journey that would become one of highly respected commercial services. ERC started expanding its services across the country with diversification in 2008 after winning a project from the Higher Education Commission (HEC). In 2010, ERC achieved another milestone by winning a Thar coal exploration project based on its expansion and capacity building in the area of mining and mineral testing infrastructure facilities.
ERC is certified by the Govt. of Sindh under the EPA Act. 2014 since 2009 and ISO 9001-2015 QMS by NQA, Pakistan, since 2018 and provides commercial testing facilities to multinational and local industries for compliance, auditing, and research projects. ERC has also been providing lab practical facilities for students of BS, MS, and Ph.D. since 2010.
