The Research Cell successfully organized a hands-on workshop titled “Scientific Databases and Access to HEC Digital Library” for the Faculty of Basic and Clinical Sciences. The workshop was held on December 4–5, 2025, at the BUCM Library.
The session was facilitated by Dr. Nesheman Huma, who provided participants with comprehensive, practical guidance on navigating major scientific databases and effectively utilizing the HEC Digital Library for academic and research purposes. Key components included essential search techniques, database functionalities, and strategies for accessing high-quality scholarly resources.
Faculty members actively participated in interactive demonstrations and expressed appreciation for the opportunity to enhance their research competencies. The workshop proved valuable in strengthening the research culture by equipping participants with advanced digital literacy and resource-utilization skills.

The session concluded with a group photo, followed by insightful remarks from Sr. Prof. Dr. Wafa Omer, Director Research Cell.
