Bahira University Karachi Campus Host Mental Health Awareness Session Under The Course Campaign Designing
Karachi May 12, 2025 - The students of BS 7 Media Studies at Bahria University, Karachi Campus, organized an insightful and impactful seminar focused on Mental Health Awareness as part of their Campaign Design course. The event was held on May 12, 2025, under the supervision of Dr. Safeena Yaseen, and featured a guest lecture by a medical expert from Liaquat National Hospital.
The seminar aimed to highlight the growing mental health challenges faced by university students and young professionals, particularly issues like stress, anxiety, and depression that have become increasingly common in today’s fast-paced world. The event provided attendees with practical knowledge and tools to recognize mental health symptoms and understand how to seek support.
One of the unique aspects of the seminar was an interactive quiz session led by the guest doctor, allowing students to engage with the content in a meaningful and reflective way. This activity not only reinforced key learning points but also encouraged open dialogue on a topic often considered taboo. Held at the Bahria University Karachi Campus, the session was part of Mental Health Awareness Month, aligning with global efforts to break stigma and foster greater mental well-being in academic spaces.
Bahria University remains committed to nurturing not just the academic growth of its students but also their emotional and psychological well-being. Events like this seminar demonstrate the university’s dedication to equipping students with real-world awareness, compassion, and the confidence to create positive change in their communities.
