Career Counseling Session Held at Bahria University Karachi Campus to Inspire Entrepreneurial Mindsets.
Bahria University Karachi Campus, in collaboration with the students of BS 7 Media Studies Department, organized a career counseling session on March 20, 2025, under the supervision of Dr. Safeena Yaseen. The session featured Mr. Ghulam Hussain Kothari, CEO and Founder of Focus 360, as the guest speaker.
The event aimed to motivate students to pursue their goals with a forward-thinking mindset, encouraging them to consider entrepreneurship as a dynamic and rewarding career path. Mr. Kothari shared valuable insights into the advertising industry’s evolution, shedding light on how media platforms have transformed over the years. Through impactful statistics and realworld examples, he emphasized the growing importance of innovative thinking in today’s competitive market.
Drawing from his own professional journey—from employment to launching a successful advertising firm—Mr. Kothari inspired students to move beyond traditional career routes and explore the vast potential of business ventures. Established in 2020, Focus 360 swiftly adapted to the post-pandemic market landscape, capitalizing on the lifting of the billboard ban. The company has since made notable strides in the field of outdoor advertising, partnering with leading brands such as KIA Motors, Cadbury, and Shan OMA, the latter known for introducing Pakistan’s first electric car by Depal.
