STUDENT QUERIES/APPLICATION PROCESS

1. Obtain the Form: Collect a student query form from the SSC office or download it from the website.

2. Provide Complete Details: Fill in all relevant information on the form. If needed, use the back of the form for additional details.

3. Submit the Form: After completing the form, register your query in the Student Query Register which is in the SSC office and submit the form to the SSC office.

4. Get a Receipt: Ensure you receive a receipt from the SSC office, and then have it signed by the SSC team. Record the query number on both the form and the receipt.

5. Processing Time: Allow at least 3 working days for processing.

6. Urgent Queries: For urgent matters, mark "Urgent" at the top of the form and arrange a meeting with the SSC Manager to discuss the urgency

STUDENT CLUBS

The Student Support Centre (SSC) plays a pivotal role in overseeing various aspects of student engagement and enrichment on campus:

1. Regulation of Students’ Clubs and Societies: The SSC ensures the smooth functioning of students' clubs and societies, fostering a vibrant extracurricular environment.

2. Maintenance of Students Non-Academic Profile: It manages and maintains students' non-academic profiles, highlighting their diverse interests and accomplishments outside the classroom.

3. Conducting and Coordinating Non-Academic Events/Workshops/Seminars: The SSC organizes and coordinates a range of non-academic events, workshops, and seminars aimed at enhancing students' skills and grooming them for future endeavors.

4. Advertisement and Publicity of Events: It ensures effective advertising and publicity of events to maximize student participation and engagement.

5. Event Coordination for Freshmen Orientation/White Coat Ceremony: The SSC takes charge of coordinating significant events such as freshmen orientation and the White Coat Ceremony, welcoming new students and marking important milestones in their academic journey.

6. Responsibility for Convocation Booklet, Backdrop Design, and Hall Management: It oversees the production of the convocation booklet, designs backdrops, and manages halls during important ceremonies.

7. Monitoring Co-Curricular and Extra-Curricular Events: The SSC monitors the punctuality and conduct of co-curricular and extra-curricular events, ensuring they align with university standards.

8. Monitoring Student Attendance at Events: It tracks student attendance at various events to gauge engagement and participation levels.

9. Liaison with HODs/Faculty Members: The SSC collaborates with Heads of Departments (HODs) and faculty members to compile and tabulate articles for the campus newsletter, fostering communication and showcasing academic achievements.

10. Record Keeping of Campus Events: It maintains comprehensive records of all events held on campus, ensuring accountability and documentation of student activities.

11. Maintenance and Updating of Campus Website: The SSC manages the campus website, regularly updating it with the latest club/society activities and achievements to keep stakeholders informed.

12. Utilization of Social Media Platforms: It leverages social media platforms such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc., to promote and showcase student activities and achievements to a wider audience.

JOINING IN STUDENT CLUBS

1. Membership Application: Students should obtain the membership form from the SSC office/website, providing details, objectives, and reasons for joining.

2. Submission: Submit the completed form to the SSC office by the deadline.

3. Application Review: Club leadership will review applications based on commitment, interest, and alignment with club goals.

4. Notification: List of members will be notified via email, notice board, or other channels.

5. Orientation: New members will attend an orientation to meet leadership, learn about club activities, and receive necessary information.

6. Active Participation: Members are encouraged to actively participate in club events and contribute their skills.

7. Feedback and Engagement: Club leaders should maintain communication, gather feedback, and encourage ongoing member engagement.
