Karachi February 24,2025 -The students of BS 7 Media Studies Department at Bahria University Karachi Campus organized a thought-provoking program to highlight student’s achievements in “Ubharte Howe Sitare”. The event, held under the supervision of Dr. Safeena Yaseen, provided students with a platform to share their experiences, challenges, and impact through the program.
The primary objectives of “Ubharte Howe Sitare” were to shed light on the lack of recognition students receive despite their remarkable achievements. Students of Karachi University, Arisha Asif and Bushra Israr and Muhammad Huzaifa of Sir Syed University were invited. Arisha Asif and Bushra Israr who innovated a medicine indicator that helped to detect the expiry of the tablet and Muhammad Huzaifa who innovated a device that measures air humidity. These students contribute significantly to society through innovation, research, and social initiatives, yet their names and efforts often go unnoticed. This campaign aimed to showcase the exceptional contributions of students from various universities who have developed solutions to real-world problems and to address the issue of students' hard work being overlooked, emphasizing the need for acknowledgment and support. Encourage more students to engage in impactful projects by recognizing and celebrating the efforts of their peers.
Bahria University has always been committed to fostering an environment where students are encouraged to think critically, innovate, and contribute meaningfully to society. Through initiatives like this talk show, the university aims to support and promote student-led efforts, ensuring that young changemakers receive the recognition. “Ubharte Howe Sitare” marked another milestone in the university’s ongoing efforts to promote health education and community engagement.
