Welcome to the Department of Paediatric Dentistry at Bahria University Medical and Dental College. Our department stands at the forefront of Paediatric Dentistry, designed to equip students with cutting-edge skills and knowledge, combining hands-on clinical experience to address the diverse dental needs of children and adolescents.
Leading our department is Dr. Maliha Naveed, a distinguished expert in the field. Dr. Maliha earned her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from Altamash Institute of Dental Medicine in 2010, followed by Fellowship of College of Physicians & Surgeons (FCPS) in Operative Dentistry & Endodontics in 2021. Our dedicated faculty of Department of Paediatric Dentistry provides a rich educational environment using structured learning programs and is committed to excellence in both patient care and research.
Our department specializes in the comprehensive care of young patients, focusing on diagnosing, preventing, and treating dental issues. This includes managing dental caries, treating primary and newly erupted permanent teeth, along with multidisciplinary management of dental trauma, developmental anomalies and interceptive orthodontics to support the overall health and development of a child’s dentition. Our curriculum is meticulously designed to address these critical areas, training students with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in Paediatric Dentistry.
