The 1st meeting of the Institutional Quality Circle (IQC) was successfully conducted on 17th June 2025 chaired by the Honorable Rector.
The session commenced with welcome to all participants, including Pro-Rectors, Director Generals, Deans, Directors, Principals, and the Quality Assurance (QA) Directorate. Their presence and active participation were acknowledged and highly appreciated.
The Director QA highlighted the pivotal role of the IQC in ensuring and advancing both academic and administrative quality across the university. It was emphasized that internal quality assurance mechanisms, as mandated by the Higher Education Commission (HEC), go beyond compliance and serve as essential platforms for collaborative dialogue and continuous improvement.
Participants were encouraged to actively contribute through open and constructive discussions, with a focus on:
Reviewing performance against key quality indicators.
Identifying gaps and challenges.
Proposing practical strategies for quality enhancement.
The Director QA further elaborated the importance of strengthening the Quality Assurance Directorate in light of the university’s ongoing expansion, the growing complexity of academic programs (including Open and Distance Learning), international ranking, and evolving requirements of national and international accreditation and regulatory bodies.
The meeting concluded with a shared commitment to fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the university.
