The Quality Assurance Directorate of Bahria University, Islamabad, is a central body dedicated to safeguarding and promoting the highest standards of academic and research excellence. It serves a pivotal role in fostering a culture of continuous improvement across all campuses of the University, ensuring that academic programs, research initiatives, and institutional practices consistently meet the highest benchmarks of quality and effectiveness.
In alignment with the policies and guidelines of the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan, national accreditation and regulatory bodies, as well as international quality assurance standards, the Directorate is entrusted with the development and implementation of comprehensive quality assurance systems. These systems are applied through both internal and external mechanisms and include processes such as institutional self-assessments, academic mock audits, and the systematic self-review of all academic programs across campuses. The Directorate also oversees the Institutional Performance Review and the continuous enhancement of Bahria University in accordance with the Higher Education Commission’s revised Quality Assurance Framework (PSG-2023). This ensures compliance with the requirements of accreditation bodies and responsiveness to the expectations of stakeholders, including students, faculty, alumni, and industry partners.
