Welcome to Bahria University College of Allied Health Sciences (BUCAHS). Your choice of Selection in Bahria University College of Allied Health Sciences is the evidence of shear hard work, incessant struggle and relentless efforts towards achieving the goals. This BUCAHS College includes 4-year degree programs of allied health sciences including BS-Medical Lab Technology and BS- Biotechnology. State of the art facilities and adroit faculty of this campus will ensure smooth transition of a student to a highly trained graduate and practitioner. The logical convergence towards the aim will be explained stepwise in the study guide, which includes forthcoming activities, content, and learning strategies.​

The highly proficient PhD teaching faculty will provide necessary guidance related to learning objectives, effective use of teaching tools and integrated teaching methods. The allied health sciences programs including BS-Medical Lab Technology and BS-Biotechnology also support social and moral development of a medical student besides achieving academic excellence. BAHRIA UNIVERSITY COLLEGE OF ALLIED HEALTH SCIENCES (BUCAHS)

Bahria University College of Allied Health Sciences (BUCAHS) has established in 2018 with the initiation of BS-MLT (Medical Lab Technology) program as a first step to develop Allied Health Sciences College. Later on, BS-Biotechnology (4 years) program has added in 2023 to the BU College of Allied Health Sciences as horizontal expansion of the college.

State of art facilities and competent faculty of this college ensure smooth transition of a student to a highly trained allied health practitioner. The mandate of allied health science education is to equip future allied health professionals with requisite knowledge skills and attitude. 

The infrastructure of campus includes spacious lecture halls, tutorial rooms, basic science laboratories, video linked conference room, library, auditorium, cafeteria, gym, common rooms for boys and girls, prayer room, sick bay facility, student clubs for grooming talent and teaching hospital PNS Shifa for clinical training.

1. Foundational Knowledge

Apply core concepts of medical laboratory science, human biology, and disease pathology to clinical diagnostics.

2. Technical Laboratory Proficiency

Perform and interpret a broad spectrum of diagnostic tests in hematology, microbiology, clinical chemistry, molecular diagnostics, immunohematology, and emerging lab technologies.

3. Communication & Interpersonal Skills

Effectively communicate lab findings, interact professionally with healthcare teams, and provide patient education and client services when needed.

4. Laboratory Operations & Management

Understand and contribute to lab management, including quality assurance, inventory, cost-effectiveness, documentation, and compliance with regulatory standards.

5. Ethics & Professionalism

Uphold ethical conduct, maintain patient confidentiality, and demonstrate accountability in decision-making in clinical and research settings.
