Psychological Support Centre
The Psychological Support Center at Bahria University Islamabad provides a safe space for students, faculty, staff, and the community to navigate psychological, emotional, social, and behavioral challenges. With a strong focus on mental well-being, WBC offers counseling and therapy to help individuals manage stress, anxiety, academic pressure, and other concerns.
The Trauma Therapy Unit (TTU) at the Well-being Center helps individuals cope with personal and collective trauma by providing expert guidance and support. At the same time, the Professional Psychology Training Unit (PPTU) equips Clinical Psychology practitioners and the community with essential skills through professional training. Together, these units strengthen WBC’s mission to promote mental well-being and create a supportive environment for everyone at Bahria University.
Umeed-e-Nau (Psychological Services Center)
Bahria University ensures high quality, problem focused, ethical professional services. An integrated and cohesive approach is encouraged to provide professional support for different emotional and psychological issues that might hinder normal functioning and performance of an individual. Umeed –e – Nau (Psychological Service Centre) will be providing following services by keeping in mind the ethical code of conduct:
- Psychological Assessment for all type of developmental and psychological conditions by using latest psychological tests with complete written report (if required).
- Psychotherapeutic intervention and psychological services by application of traditional and latest psychotherapies for different emotional and other issues like academic difficulties or career choices etc.
