Executive Summary of Corrective Action Plan of Self-Review of all MS/MPhil and PhD programs of BU Health Sciences, Karachi
A Self-Review Team conducted a comprehensive Self-Review of all MS/MPhil and PhD programs offered by Bahria University Health Sciences, Karachi, in accordance with the HEC Policy for Graduate Education (GEP) and Quality Assurance Framework (PSG-2023). The Self-Review was conducted on 09 January 2026.
The Self-Review Team comprised the following members:
The Self-Review Team visited BUHS, Karachi, on 06 January 2026. The team held an initial meeting with the DG, BUHS, attended by the Director, BUHS, and all respective Principals. During the meeting, the Self-Review Team apprised the DG, BUHS, and other participants of the purpose, scope, objectives, and methodology of the Self-Review. The team also briefed the participants regarding the review of MS/MPhil and PhD programs against the relevant requirements and standards prescribed under HEC PSG-2023.
On 09 January 2026, the Self-Review Team conducted an Exit Meeting with the DG, BUHS, in the presence of the Director, BUHS, and all respective Principals. During the Exit Meeting, the Self-Review Team shared its preliminary observations, key findings, and areas requiring improvement with the campus management. The team also highlighted the major strengths and areas of concern identified during the review and provided preliminary recommendations for further improvement and compliance with the requirements of HEC PSG-2023.

A Self-Review Team conducted a comprehensive Self-Review of all MS/MPhil and PhD programs offered by Bahria University Karachi Campus (BUKC) and the Institute of Professional Psychology (IPP), Karachi, in accordance with the HEC Policy for Graduate Education (GEP)/Quality Assurance framework (PSG-2023). The Self-Review was conducted from 3 to 6 November 2025.
