HEC POST GRADUATE PROGRAM REVIEW OF BAHRIA UNIVERSITY, E-8 AND H-11 CAMPUSES, ISLAMABAD
Bahria University proudly hosted the HEC Postgraduate Program Review Committee for a comprehensive evaluation of its MS/MPhil and PhD programs at the E-8 and H-11 campuses, reaffirming its commitment to academic excellence and quality assurance. The evaluation was expertly coordinated by the Quality Assurance Directorate with valuable support from the Student Affairs Directorate and academic leadership across faculties including Business, Engineering, Psychology, Law, and Social Sciences.

The visit concluded on a constructive note with a final exit meeting, where the Review Committee shared preliminary observations and offered valuable feedback to further enhance academic standards. The committee appreciated Bahria University’s efforts toward fostering a research-oriented environment and its strong commitment to continuous academic improvement.
BAHRIA UNIVERSITY, LAHORE CAMPUS, LAHORE
Executive Summary
A Self-Review Team, approved by the Honourable Rector, conducted a Self-Review of all MS and PhD programs of BU Lahore Campus from 09–10 January 2025 in accordance with the HEC and BU guidelines. During the review, the team examined the files of the postgraduate programs, held meetings with the HODs and PG Coordinators, and engaged in discussions with faculty members and students. The campus extended full support in facilitating the review, including arranging visits to various facilities, addressing the team’s queries during the visit. The overall record and evidence presented were found to be very satisfactory.
In the exit meeting with the Director, BULC, held in the presence of HODs and PG Coordinators, the team discussed the strengths and weaknesses of the PG programs currently offered at the Lahore Campus. It was observed that the faculty-to-student ratio in each PG program meets the minimum requirements set by HEC.
BAHRIA UNIVERSITY, HEALTH SCIENCES, KARACHI

During the review, the team examined the files of the postgraduate programs, held meetings with the Principals, Directors, HODs, and PG Coordinators, and engaged in discussions with faculty members and students. The campus extended full support in facilitating the review, including arranging visits to various facilities, addressing the team’s queries during the visit. The overall record and evidence presented were found to be very satisfactory.
In the exit meeting with the DG, BUHS held in the presence of Principals and HODs, the team discussed the strengths and weaknesses of the PG programs currently offered at the BUHS, Karachi. It was observed that the faculty-to-student ratio in each PG program meets the minimum requirements set by HEC.
