CM Punjab Laptop Scheme Phase II-(Important Update)

Decision taken in 6^th Meeting of the Steering Committee regarding CM Punjab Laptop Scheme-2025 (Phase-II) clarify that eligibility is defined for BS students admitted in Admission Year 2025 (Spring and Fall Semesters) only. Details are as follows:

1. According to the laptop eligibility criteria, students enrolled in the 1st and 2nd semesters of the BS program are eligible; however, the year of enrollment had not been specified earlier. The Chair was informed that students admitted in 2025 (Spring and Fall Semesters) are eligible. As some universities have now started Spring 2026 admissions, confusion has arisen regarding which students should be considered eligible.
2. It was further clarified that, in the eligibility criteria for the BS program, the year of enrollment 2025 will be specifically included, and students enrolled in 2026 will be considered eligible in the following year.
3. Decision: Students enrolled in the 1st and 2nd semesters of the BS program of the 2025 session will be considered for the current phase.
