Prof. Dr. Saima Qamar is a graduate from Army Medical College,13th batch. She is a distinguished professional with a robust academic and clinical background of more than 25 years. She holds a Certification in Medical Teaching from the University of Health Sciences Lahore in collaboration with the University of Liverpool, UK (2016) and has been a Fellow of the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan since 2010. She has been serving as a registered supervisor for FCPS trainees since 2015 and is an examiner for FCPS-II examinations at the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan. Dr. Saima is also a certified laparoscopic surgeon, having completed her training at Combined Military Hospital Rawalpindi in 2019.
In her academic pursuits, she is actively engaged as a paper assessor for undergraduate examinations at the University of Health Sciences and Bahria University. She is a reviewer for esteemed journals, including Life and Science, National University of Medical Sciences Journal (NUMS), and Pakistan Armed Forces Medical Journal (PAFMJ). She is a dedicated member of the Society of Obstetricians and Gynecologists of Pakistan (SOGP) Dr. Saima is a prolific researcher with multiple published articles in renowned indexed journals and several ongoing research projects, showcasing her commitment to advancing knowledge in the field of obstetrics and gynecology.
