Anatomy Department

Our state-of-the-art Anatomy Department offers a comprehensive learning environment that includes a well-curated Museum, a fully equipped Dissection Hall, and a modern Histology Laboratory.

The Anatomy Museum features approximately 200 anatomical models, offering students a rich, visual, and hands-on learning experience. These models (procured from Germany) are designed to support foundational understanding of human anatomy and enhance spatial and structural comprehension along with digital learning through 3B Scientific App and Elsevier Complete Anatomy Experience on Smart Board.

The Dissection Hall is equipped with a dedicated mortuary and multiple skeletal specimens, LCD monitor, projector and speaker system, providing valuable opportunities for hands-on dissection through Smart Board and detailed anatomical study. This space supports the development of students’ practical skills and psychomotor learning through structured dissection sessions.

The Histology Laboratory is furnished with more than 25 high-quality light microscopes and is designed to promote microscopic anatomical understanding. Along with more than 300 Anatomy Books in the library, microscope projector and LCD monitor, these resources facilitate active, inquiry-based learning, supporting students as they explore tissue structure and cellular architecture.

The department is led by a qualified faculty team, comprising 1 Professor, 3 Associate Professors, and 2 Assistant Professors, who are committed to delivering quality anatomical education through integrated teaching strategies and modern pedagogical tools.

ROADMAP FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF ANATOMY
