We, the E-Learning Research Group, aim to introduce a uniform learning environment in our country’s basic education system which includes lectures, practice material and assessments in electronic format. One of our projects, e-learning system for elementary education, delivers computer based lectures developed from paper based curriculum and activities and assessments in the shape of learning games for students to learn while playing. We also provide a response analysis engine for early identification of psychological disorders and a measure about the I/Q and E/Q of each student. Based on the German model, Research Institute for Smart Integrated Logistics (SIL) is the first such initiative in Pakistan to holistically address integrated logistics topics through applied research and living labs at the industry. SIL aims to address challenges and provide solutions for the immediate benefit for companies and networks. Tailored interdisciplinary teams deliver cross-industry and customer-specific Logistics Research and further support in delivering Strategies, Planning, Management and Execution solutions. The initial cross-domain focus areas are CPEC and Beyond. Multimodal Logistics Harmonization (Rail, Road, Air and Sea), Maritime Logistics and Services Excellence, Industrial & Defense Supply Chain Management and Integrated Industrial Zones. Further domains under SIL include, supply network design, fleet management, materials handling, warehouse management, simulation supported business, traffic systems, intelligent logistics, infrastructure logistics, green logistics and digital logistics. Made-to-measure teams create cross industry and customer-specific solutions in the area of Smart Integrated Logistics. SIL has 20 direct staff, and for interdisciplinary projects, the Institute can draw a large number, about 16,000 staff, from affiliated local (Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, Gwadar) and an extended international network of collaborating institutes in Europe, Americas, Australia and Africa.Read More

Established in 2010 the BUIC Legal Aid Clinic (LAC) at the Department of Law has marked its name not only as a hub of traditional Legal Studies, but has also earned recognition in Corporate Advisory Services, Litigation and Research & Legal consultancy. LAC supplements the market while offering expert opinions on Contract Writing, Legislative Drafting, Instrument Vetting, Pleading Corporate Mergers and Acquisitions Specialized Legal Trainings IP Registration Management Maritime & Admiralty Transactions. The Clinic has always been a market captivation due to its Academic and Industry Linked Programs. December 2018, initiative of LLM in International Trade and Maritime Laws, a flagship program offering expert and first hand quality knowledge from experts of Pakistan Navy and abroad is one of its kind taught at BUIC. Research center of Rehabilitation sciences is a platform for competent researchers in different domains of physical therapy like neuromuscular, orthopedic manual, sports medicine, women’s health and cardio pulmonary Rehabilitation. All of our researchers have post-graduate qualifications with ample research experience in basic and clinical sciences. Moreover, researchers at BUCPT plan to develop the Bahria University Medical and Dental college with a research friendly atmosphere, with not only the aim of working towards developing diverse research expertise but also achieving recognition by applying latest physical agents, virtual and manual techniques in differ motor and neurological problems associated with different levels of disabilities.
BUCPT (BUMDC) has two functional labs with highly sophisticated equipment used for academic as well as research purposes; where one lab is in the process of development focused on the field of biomechanics and ergonomics. The recent developments in rehabilitation sciences have modernized the vision and pattern of treatment which is an evidence based practice. IBMS aims at identifying clinical diseases and providing solutions to them. New diseases are evolving with changing life styles especially in developing countries where the disease pattern and type are different from the developed countries. The objectives of IBMS is to collaborate with hospitals and pharmaceutical industry to fill the gap of knowledge by research and reasoning. Challenging areas are increasing mortality and morbidity of children under 5 years of age, increasing prevalence of carcinoma cases and nutritional deficiencies in women of reproductive ages leading to a cumbersome old age life.Read More
CPTS aims to identify the target sites for use of drugs in existing and emerging diseases, drug delivery through different methods and provision of alternative and superior drugs to patients who are encountering resistance or are unable to tolerate them. Modern medicine relies heavily on drugs as the main tool of therapeutics to prevent, diagnose and treat diseases. Identification of appropriate drug target sites in disease processes enables their use in a justified manner with provision of maximum benefits and minimum adverse effects. Accordingly, the group is working on newer use of conventional drugs, identification of chemicals as potential new drugs and exploring drugs that have the potential to behave as a better, easily available and cost effective alternative for use by the community. The aim of Centre of Innovative Dental Research is to conduct qualitative and quantitative study related to dentistry. This center also conducts case based studies and clinical trials on dental biomaterials. The objective of this research group is to provide an opportunity for faculty to actively engage in research and produce publications that can improve the quality of oral health care in Pakistan. This clinical discipline of dentistry at Bahria University is particularly involved in managing the patients and conducting data for publications. Restorative research group covers a diverse range of interdisciplinary areas and has strong links with patient benefit. The goal of our research is to develop an informed opinion on a topic.
