MR. ADEEL AHMAD
Assistant Director R&D
Mr. Adeel has been associated with Directorate of Research, Innovation & Commercialization - Bahria university Head Office, Islamabad Since 2011 in the capacity of Assistant Director Mr. Ahmed has acquired MPhil Degree in Project Management with specialization in Innovation Management. He has a vast experience of policy formulation, Implementation, monitoring and evaluation. Over a span of more then 10 years of experience. Mr. Ahmed has development expertise in the domain of Research and Innovation Management He developed and implemented a holistic Research, Innovation and Commercialization Ecosystem at Bahria University constituting of more than twenty comprehensive RIC Polices & Procedures along with preparation and implementation of Strategic Plan - 2025 of Research at BU. Mr Ahmed has also acquired international training on R&D management under different capacity building programs from leading universities and training institutes of Australia, USA, Turkey, Thailand and South Africa. With his expertise in R&D management, Mr. Ahmad become profoundly involved in the current programmatic planning and key decision making in the domain of Research, Innovation and Commercialization at Bahria University. Mr. Ahmed has a passion for R&D Management, Operational, Policy, Innovation and Project Management.
MR. ABRAR HUSSAIN
Assistant Director I&C
Mr. Abrar Hussain has been associated with Directorate of Research, Innovation & Commercialization - BUHO, Islamabad since 2010 in the capacity of Manager ORIC Mr. Abrar is one of the founder employee of ORIC after its establishment in 2010. He has acquired his MBA Degree with specialization in Finance and currently MS Scholar at Bahria University. He has a vast experience of handing and maintaining the funded research projects of Bahria University acquired from industry and other national / international funding agencies, monitoring and evaluation of the different Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of research and commercial activities of Bahria Innovation Center. Over a span of more than 10 years of experience, Mr. Abrar provided support and coordinated in completing more than 20 funded research projects and currently managing 25 funded research projects at Bahria University and provided support and guidelines on the different approved R&D policies and incentives to faculty members/researchers for the implementation of these policies in true letter and spirit. He is also maintaining the research database of Bahria University through an Online Management System. monitoring and evaluation of the different Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of research. Mr. Abrar is also Erasmus+ alumni from Altinbas University, Turkey.
