Muhammad Mohtashim Mateen is a corporate Relations Executive having 09 years banking experience in general with 07 years of core Corporate Banking experience in particular. He is presently working with 1st Islamic Bank of the World (Dubai Islamic Bank) with top notch ability to identify and capture new business opportunities for foreign and national financial institutions. Mohtashim is a graduate of Bahria University Islamabad Campus and did his MBA in Finance back in 2005-2006. His professional achievements during his career involve;

Leading, from initiation to completion, the landmark financing deals for entities in telecom sector of Pakistan. His bank became pioneer and the first bank by long term financing largest telecom entity (Mobilink) through Islamic mode of financing.

Mohtashim has also worked on financing Government of Pakistan acting through Ministry of Finance for import of Oil for national necessities which involved his institution, PAK Arab Refinery Co. Ltd (PARCO), local & international law firms and various Government entities. During his banking career, other major transactions he has worked on include; Active participation in the syndicate transaction of arranging PKR 3.00 Billion for Zaver Petroleum belonging to Hashoo Group under Islamic mode of Financing which was first of its kind in the Oil & Gas industry and being a participant in consortium financing amounting to PKR 25.00 Billion extended to Bestway Cement for acquisition of Lafarge Pakistan Cement.

Recently, Mohtashim has been hired internationally to work for a foreign Financial Institution in the Managerial Capacity where he shall undertake international assignments for further development of Islamic Banking in Middle East.
